In what may turn out to be the last PowerPC revision of Apple PowerBook line, Apple today updated the very overdue lineup with several enhancements:

• New, higher resolution displays: 15" = 1440x960, 17" = 1680x1050
• Standard SuperDrives on all models
• Standard backlit keyboard on 15" and 17" models
• Standard ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 with 128MB DDR memory on 15" and 17" models
• 15" now 1.67GHz
• Larger HDD capacities (up to 120 GB)
• One extra hour battery life on the 15" and 17"

Overall, a fairly modest upgrade when you look at the pricing. All models ship within 24 hours.

The already robust iMac G5 has a new refreshed design. In addition to the computer becoming even thinner, Apple has added a built-in iSight camera that resides right in the bezel and bundled a remote for controlling a new application called Front Row. Tech specs are as follows:
