Tiger has arrived

GarageBand 2.0.1

Apple has released a GarageBand 2.0.1 Update. It is said to address issues with duplicating tracks, playhead snapping to grid, joining software instrument regions on adjacent tracks, making precise adjustments to volume and pan settings, and converting Software Instrument Apple Loops based on drum sounds into Real Instrument Apple Loops. It also addresses an issue where recorded Real Instrument regions may not properly adjust to changes in the project key.

Apple Tech Update Event

Apple Computer will be hosting a Tech Update Event over Mac OSX 10.4 Tiger Client and Server, on April 26th from 9:00AM-11:00AM and 2:00PM-4:00PM in the Union Room #507 / 508. The event will be hosted by Michael Colvin, an Apple Systems Engineer, and will cover the new operating system in detail, with a question and answer session afterwards. Apple Updates Professional Suite and Shake

Introduced as Final Cut Studio, the production suite puts everything editors need to evaluate production values in a single box:
The Final Cut Studio Suite sells for $1299 and ships free in 4-6 weeks. While these applications can also be purchased individually, buying the suite saves a ton of money. Tiger Announced!

On Tuesday Apple officially unleashed it's next generation Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. The cat is set to pounce for April 29, 2005.
